How It All Began
When our family moved to Ruka more than twenty years ago, we fell in love with the landscape, the changing seasons and the unique atmosphere of life on the fell. That passion eventually led to the creation of Ruka Peak.
What started as a dream has grown into a chalet, restaurant and destination where guests from around the world can experience the very best of Ruka.
Today, Ruka Peak brings together exclusive private group accommodation, Restaurant Peak, Sauna World and tailored experiences in a unique setting at the top of Ruka, Finnish Lapland.

Perched at the highest point of Ruka, our location offers something truly unique. In winter, guests enjoy direct access to the ski slopes and snow-covered landscapes stretching beyond the horizon. During summer and autumn, hiking trails begin right outside our door, leading into the peaceful wilderness of Kuusamo.
Whether you are here for adventure or relaxation, nature is always just a few steps away. Every season brings new colours, new experiences and a different perspective on life in the North.
