Restaurant Peak welcomes both Ruka Peak Chalet guests and other visitors to enjoy unforgettable dining at the top of Ruka in Finnish Lapland.

Combining the flavours of Lapland with Alpine traditions, Restaurant Peak serves locally inspired dishes, including reindeer fondue, raclette and hearty mountain specialities.

From the Slopes to Dinner

During the day, stop by for drinks, light bites and our signature Peak goulash soup. In the evening, enjoy a warm and inviting mountain dining experience with panoramic views over Ruka.

A taste of the North, straight from the grill

Tender reindeer fillet or roast, marinated king prawns and rich Gourmet Naturel raclette cheese. Grill your own courgettes, bell peppers, oyster mushrooms and button mushrooms. Served with roasted potatoes, pickled vegetables, fresh gremolata, horseradish mayonnaise and house-made focaccia.

Peak Mountain Cheese Fondue
€59 / person

Velvety Alpine cheese and fine cured meats

A rich, melted fondue made with Gruyère and Vacherin cheeses, accompanied by Fuet Ibérico salami, Tyrolean Speck ham and bresaola. Served with Cerignola olives, pickled vegetables, Brussels sprouts, roasted potatoes and marinated lingonberries. Finished with gremolata, horseradish mayonnaise and house-made focaccia.

Peak Reindeer Fondue €68 / person

Deep flavours of the northern forest

Cook tender slices of reindeer fillet or roast at your table in Peak’s own aromatic reindeer broth, alongside oyster mushrooms, button mushrooms, bell peppers and Brussels sprouts. Served with roasted potatoes, pickled vegetables, marinated lingonberries, gremolata, horseradish mayonnaise and house-made focaccia.

Prices are per person. Best enjoyed by two or more, but also available for one.

Peak Vintti

Tucked away on the top floor of Ruka Peak, Peak Vintti is an intimate and atmospheric meeting place with its own private entrance.

Open on selected dates during the peak season, Vintti offers a carefully selected range of quality wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks, accompanied by simple bites such as charcuterie, mini fondues and hot and cold snacks.

On selected evenings, Vintti also comes alive with entertainment and live music, creating a relaxed place to spend the evening high above Ruka.

Opening dates and the seasonal programme will be announced later in the autumn.
